1) SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Test Kits
COV1D-19 IgM/IgG DR TEST kit (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a solid phase immunochromatographic assay for the rapid, qualitative and differential detection of IgG and IgM antibodies to SARS-Cov-2 in human whole blood, serum or plasma.
POSSIBLE USES:
- Detection of asymptomatic infections.
- Screening patients prior to hospital discharge.
- Use during quarantine.
- Community wide data collection.
- Ascertainment of immunity.
- Identifying candidates with potential for providing therapeutic antibodies.
- Evaluating vaccine effectiveness.
TEST PROCEDURE:
Step 1: Allow test cassette, specimen, buffer and/or controls to equilibrate to room temperature (15-30 °C) prior to testing.
Step 2: Remove the test cassette from the sealed foil pouch and use it as soon as possible. Best results will be obtained if the assay is performed within one hour. Place the test device on a clean and level surface.
Step 3: Label the device with specimen ID number.
Step 4: Using a transfer pipette, transfer 10 μL drawn serum/plasma specimen into the sample well. Then add 2 drops (about 80 µL) of
sample buffer to the well immediately. Avoid air bubbles.
Step 5: Wait for the colored line(s) to appear. The result should be read in 5-10 minutes. Positive results may be visible as soon as 2 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 15 minutes.
